Generating Reports from Profile

Reports

The billing reports can be generated either manually, or automatically – by setting schedules. (see Scheduler section)

Once you generate a report, using the options in the Report Console, you can download the report as a zip file, containing Excel and PDF files, send this zip file via email or generate invoices based on the report. (see Download Report FilesSend Report files, and Invoicing sections)

Generate Reports from Profile

To generate a Report from Profile, open the Profile and click Generate Report(s) button in the Profile console.

Populate the fields.

◼ Report Type:

◼ One aggregated report for all clients on the profile – to generate one single report for all the Clients in the Profile.

◼ Separate reports for each client on the profile – to generate separate Single-client reports for every client included in the profile.

◼ Start Date – specify the start day of the reported period

◼ End Date – specify the end day of the reported period

◼ Included Report Items:

          • Breakdown by Workspaces – the report information will be displayed aggregated on a Workspace level in the Report layout
          • Breakdown by Matter – the report information will be displayed aggregated on a Matter level in the Report layout
          • Breakdown by Client – the report information will be displayed aggregated on a Client level in the Report layout
          • Breakdown by Instance – the report information will be displayed aggregated on an Instance level in the Report layout.

Breakdown by Instance is applicable only for All Clients type of Profiles.

◼ Logo – the logo will be displayed in the PDF report file (optional)

PDF report file is generated when ‘Separate reports for each client on the profile’ or ‘One aggregated report for the whole Relativity instance’ are generated.

◼ Email Recipients – populate email recipients that will receive the report files once the report generation is completed (optional)

◼ Legal Budget Email Recipients – populate email recipients that will receive the Legal Budget report files once the report generation is completed (optional)

◼ Disable New Processing Reporting – an option to switch to the legacy version of the reports’ generation where any Processing items statistics is pulled upon the report generation itself (while the latest functionality refers to reading the Processing statistics from a designated object populated on a daily basis)

◼ Accumulate Peaks And Users Monthly – an optional field which will trigger a report generation considering the peak values for Case Rollup and Users. The values will be accumulated for each calendar month within the selected report period (between Start Date and End Date)

Example: Workspace A has 15 GB peak hosting in January, 20 GB – in February and 10 GB – in March. A report for January-March will show 20 GB hosting if the ‘’Accumulate Peaks And Users Monthly’’ option is not selected. Respectively, for the same time period, the report will show 45 GB with the quoted option enabled.

◼ Start Generation Manually – In RelativityOne, users can queue multiple report requests and then start them manually, so the reports will be executed in parallel. Upon creating a report requests the Start Generation Manually option should be selected. Then, in the Reports tab the corresponding entries in status New should be started via the Trigger Report Generation mass operation.

Save. A report generation request is created and will be processed by the MaxBilling Report Generator Agent.

Any deleted Workspaces and Users are considered during the report generation. Once the date of deletion is after the start billing period date, they will be included in the reports with the corresponding statistics information.

All generated reports are listed under the Reports tab. This view includes general information for all reports. To review detailed information for a specific report, click its name to open it.
